Driving Down Unemployment in Moreno Valley
On Thursday March 18, Mayor Gutierrez joined over thirty local employers to welcome job seekers to Moreno Valley's Drive-Thru Job Fair.

With thousands of job openings available, the nearly 200 job seekers in attendance had a full day of networking and active interviews at the largest job fair in the Inland Empire.

Mayor Gutierrez also took time out to help organizers distribute bottles of hand sanitizer and meals for those in need. As we emerge from the pandemic, the Drive-Thru Job Fair represents another great event for workers and employers ready to get MoVal back to business.

Cops & Community Come Together to
Clean Up the Streets
City Council Members, City Staff, Volunteers, and Deputies from the Moreno Valley Station of the Riverside County Sheriff's Department came together on Wednesday, March 24, for another Community Clean-up event.

Clean-up efforts focused on the high-density housing community near Adrienne Avenue and Courage Street. The City’s Code Enforcement and Public Works Team were on hand to support volunteers and participants as they worked through the morning to clear truck loads of waste and bulky items.

The goal of events like this is to promote community pride while keeping Moreno Valley a beautiful place to live.
