New Businesses Coming Despite the Pandemic

Moreno Valley Utility (MVU) Customers Get Extra Time to Pay Bills, and May Also Qualify for Coronavirus Discount

Residential customers of Moreno Valley Utility (MVU) can apply for an extended payment period of 12 months to pay a coronavirus-related outstanding balance incurred since March 2020. In addition, if a customer’s income has declined significantly due to the virus, the customer may also qualify for a discount of up to 30 percent, to be applied retroactively to balances accumulated since March 2020. This program was recently approved by the Mayor and City Council to assist residents.

Small-business customers can apply for an extended payment period of up to 24 months.
The Utility Assistance program applies only to qualifying electricity customers of Moreno Valley Utility.
