The Morehouse School of Medicine (MSM) Physician Assistant Studies Program is thrilled to announce the launch of the Georgia Rural Health Outreach Workforce (GROW) Physician Assistant Webinar Series. The initiative seeks to engage the current PA workforce by providing a webinar series that introduces approaches to addressing the unique needs of rural communities through emerging health-related topics designed to inform healthcare delivery in rural communities.

About the MSM PA Program Webinar Series

Each month the GROW PA Webinar Series will address a different topic to raise awareness about the impact of social and cultural factors that influence health outcomes in rural communities. 


Key Details about the GROW Webinar Series:


  • Title: Morehouse School of Medicine PA GROW PA Webinar Series
  • Frequency: Monthly (February 28 – December 4)
  • Target audience: PAs and other health professionals
  • Focus: Emerging health-related topics, social and interdisciplinary perspectives, interactive Q & A sessions
  • Continuing Medical Education (CME) credits.

Speaker's Bio

Stephanie Banks, MPH

Principal Faculty, Instructor



Ms. Banks is Public Health Practitioner with a breadth of experience providing leadership in academia; instructing, as well as managing, implementing and evaluating various programs and activities in response to the health, well-being, and education of the indigent and the underserved community at large. Specifically, in the areas of health workforce training and development, service learning, and community resource development.



She is excited to be back in PA education, particularly, as a team member of the Physician Assistant Studies at Morehouse School of Medicine.
