Hi Patrick,
D-CAN is now offering a new dementia-related service called Cognitive Performance Testing (CPT) on-site at our Dementia Resource Center Clinic in St. Cloud. This specialized service requires a certified professional, and we are thrilled to have contracted with certified occupational therapist Katrina Sand, OTR/L, to begin seeing our clients on Wednesdays starting November 1st. What is Cognitive Performance Testing?
Unlike many paper and pencil cognitive tests, the Cognitive Performance Test (CPT) is comprised of a series of practical, hands-on tasks that resemble normal activities completed in everyday life.

We offer Dementia Caregiver Support Groups located in St. Cloud, Becker, Staples, Sauk Centre, Long Prairie, and Wadena. Find one near you. See the calendar for times and location details. We will have a special guest speaker from Thrivent this month.

Meet Katrina!
Katrina Sand, OTR/L, recently joined D-CAN as an independent contractor performing our Cognitive Performance Testing. Katrina is passionate about helping individuals with dementia live their lives to their fullest potential.

D-CAN/DRCC will be Closed
Our office will be closed Friday, November 10th- for observation of Veterans Day, and Thursday, November 23rd and 24th, for Thanksgiving.

Insurance Updates
Medicare care is no longer covering a non-negotiable portion of our dementia evaluations. In the future, we will introduce a patient-responsible fee for this service.
We accept the following insurance at our DRCC: BlueCross Blue Shield, Medicare, Medicaid/MHCP (MN Health Care Programs), United HealthCare, HealthPartners, UCare, Humana, Cigna, Railroad Medicare, most Medicare Advantage plans, and Aetna/Allina Health. Contact us with any questions.
