The holiday season is a time for giving, sharing and caring for others. Together with our children, we can reach out to those who are less fortunate than we are. There are many opportunities that are easy to do - visit with a children’s hospital ward, spend time with seniors in their homes or senior centers, or help serve food at a shelter or food bank.
If we instill a sense of generosity and service in our children, we can make this world a better and happier place for all.
I give books to children’s hospitals and special needs schools whenever I can, so if you can recommend one, I will be happy to send them a signed set.
