The Jesuit Institute Staff Seminar has been meeting regularly since 2018, under the leadership of the Jesuit Institute’s Jim Keenan, SJ, and Toni Ross. Comprised of staff from various areas of BC, the group does its best to discuss and live Ignatian values and ideals, especially accompaniment, seeing God in all things, and Cura Personalis.
Guided by these principles, and hoping to support BC students, the group (along with the many people they have developed relationships with during their time at BC) has been collaborating with the Montserrat office for the past several years to help keep the shelves of Montserrat’s Hospitality Cupboard full.

The Robsham Theater Arts Center supports the Montserrat Program in multiple ways. To start, RTAC works with campus partners to ensure that tickets from each event are set aside for the Montserrat population.Furthermore, we work with the Montserrat office to ensure that the tickets are all being used effectively; i.e. no ticket is wasted and goes unused.
Additionally, like many other areas on campus, RTAC could not function without the help of the Boston College student body. RTAC prioritizes hiring of Montserrat students applying for these student employee positions.

Fr. Robenson Siquitte S.J.
I’m Robenson Siquitte, a Jesuit priest. I was born and raised in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, within a Christian family. In August 2010, I joined the Society of Jesus and was sent to Colombia to study philosophy after completing my novitiate. During my regency in Ouanaminthe, located in the
northeast of Haiti, my primary work was promoting the rights of Haitian and Dominican migrants who are stateless in Haiti and the Dominican Republic.
After this, I was sent to Canada, where I earned a Master of Divinity degree at Regis College at the University of Toronto. Currently, I am working towards my STL in Systematic Theology at Boston College School of Theology and Ministry.
I joined the Montserrat team because I was drawn to its foundation in Ignatian spirituality. As a Jesuit, I am thrilled to be a part of this group and to lend my support to the well-being of the students.

Noe Martinez
My name is Noe Martinez, a Junior at Boston College studying Economics. I am originally from Los Angeles with parents from Mexico, Puebla. As a Mexican American I am really proud of my heritage and it is a huge part of my identity. My culture has taught me the importance of hard work, resilience and family.
On campus I am a part of the Organization of Latin American Affairs where I serve as the Culture Show Director. I am also a 2023 Jamaica Magis participant and a 2022 Magis Civil Rights Participant. Although this semester I am abroad in Venice I can not wait to return back to BC in the spring.

Kenneth Beato
Hello my name is Kenneth Beato and I am currently a Junior in the Carroll School Of Management, studying Business Entrepreneurship and Finance. I am currently studying abroad in New Cairo, Egypt at the American University of Cairo. This experience has been a once in a life time experience for me and I could not be more grateful to have chosen a place like Egypt. I’ve gotten to experience and do things that I don’t think I would ever have gotten to do back home, like playing and joining a rugby team(yes I guess you can do that abroad). Whether it’s history, architecture, language, culture or even the food, Egypt has taught me a lot about myself and a lot about the world that I don’t get to see.
