Kosciusko Board of Realtors Increase The Number Of Scholarships

News Release WARSAW - The Kosciusko Board of Realtors will extend its rich history of community involvement by awarding its annual scholarships to Kosciusko County students this spring. For 2023 KBOR has increased the number of $1,000 scholarships awarded from three to six Kosciusko County students.

Indiana home sales jump 17% from January to February, cutting year-over-year sales gap in half over the first two months of 2023

Sales, new listings and price appreciation show positive momentum, though a continued housing recovery is tied to national inflation, mortgage rate trends

(INDIANAPOLIS, Ind.) Statewide home sales jumped 17% from January to February in an unusually sharp seasonal increase, according to MLS data released by the Indiana Association of REALTORS®. February’s total of 4,895 homes sold was 15% below 2022, continuing to close the year-over-year sales gap that had grown four straight months to 30% in December before narrowing to 26% in January.

February 2023 Pending Home Sales Rise for Third Consecutive Month

NAR released a summary of pending home sales data showing that February's pending home sales pace rose modestly 0.8% last month but fell 21.1% from a year ago. Pending sales represent homes with a signed contract to purchase them but have yet to close. They tend to lead existing-home sales data by 1 to 2 months.
