November Professional Development Luncheon
November 21 | 11:30 a.m. - 1 p.m. | PeachTree Catering
5 Elements of Well Being
For the past 4 months Chair Krista Kippenberger has reminded members to give their Best Yes, both at home and at work. The November Professional Development Luncheon will feature Melody Morgan who will help attendees to take stock of their 5 areas of well being: career, social, physical, financial and community. She’ll walk attendees through exercises focused on identifying which areas they are strongest and which areas need extra attention, while helping to identify roadblocks that could stifle our growth. As we inch closer to the holidays, this luncheon is the perfect opportunity to set ourselves up to close out our year balanced, and begin a new year with our well being front of mind.

Date: October 23, 2019
Time: 12 - 1 p.m.
Walton Building (300 S. Providence)

COMO offers a number of professional development resources that benefit our business community. Unfortunately, many local organizations and their initiatives are unknown to those who would benefit most. If you’ve utilized any local resources in the past year, we’d love to hear about your experience. Whether you’re an entrepreneur starting your first business or an established professional or business owner who’s interested in learning more about local organizations and their goals, this is an LDR for you! Featuring Amy Schneider, COMO Convention & Visitors Bureau Director and Nickie Davis, the District Downtown CID Executive Director.

LDR’s are great, free professional development opportunities lead by esteemed professionals in Columbia. Discussions are free to attend and are open to members and non-members. Bring your lunch and join in on the conversation, or sit back and take it all in!
