The Ride Together Pierce Bike Everywhere Challenge is almost over. Have you ridden your bike five times this month? That's all it takes to automatically qualify for the $50, $20 and $10 prizes. Just log your bike trips on out trip calendar. You can create an account or login here. The last day to log your trips is Friday, June 7. You can compete alone or on a team.

Saturday, May 25: Bike to Proctor Farmer's Market with Kidical Mass. Meet at Franklin Park, 1201 S Puget Sound Ave, Tacoma, at 10 a.m.

Wednesday, May 29: Riders 4 Recovery. Twice-a-month bike rides for people in recovery from trauma, mental health, addiction and allies.

Thursday, May 30: Bike to the Broadway Farmer's Market and receive a $2 token to spend at the market.

Saturday, June 8: World Ocean Day Ride. Join Velofemmes on a ride over the Tacoma Narrows Bridge to watch whales and giant squid.

Thursday, June 13: Adult Bike 101 Basics. Hosted by 2nd Cycle, 1205 M.L.K. Jr Way, Tacoma from 6-8 p.m.

Saturday, June 15: Wheels and Reels. Explore Tacoma's cinematic history on a slow and social bike ride. Two tours available, one at 11 a.m. and 4 p.m.

June is Ride Transit Month! See You at Transit Trivia on Monday, June 17
Celebrate with Ride Together Pierce, Pierce Transit and Downtown On the Go at the third annual Transit Trivia at Zeeks Pizza, 1702 Pacific Ave, Tacoma from 5:30-7:30 p.m. This is a family-friendly, free event. Pizza provided!
Individuals or teams (up to 6 players) will answer transit related questions featuring historical facts, transit in pop culture and local transit knowledge.

Car-Free Adventure with Transit Trekker
Join Transit Trekker on Saturday, June 22 from 3-4:30 p.m. at the Moore Library, 215 South 56th Street, Tacoma, for a lecture on how to plan your own car-free outings and get the inside scoop on some of the easiest transit treks you can do near and far. You don't always need a car to set off on an amazing trip, locally or even to Alaska!

Calmer, Safer Streets in Puyallup
Did you know the City of Puyallup has a Neighborhood Traffic Calming Program? Residents can submit a Community Action Request for a street to be "calmed" by adding traffic circles, medians, radar signs, raised crosswalks, and more.

Walk Tacoma 2024: Maritime History Walk
Join Downtown: On the Go! for a 1.2-mile walk covering maritime history, educational activities and conservation efforts that support the sustainability of the Thea Foss Waterway on Wednesday, June 12, 12-1 p.m. The walk begins at Courthouse Square, 1102 A St., Tacoma and includes stops at the Tacoma Boat Builders and the Youth Marine Foundation.
