Smolen's Farewell Party

Please join us for a public gathering to bid farewell to Library Director David Smolen

on Thurs. Jan. 4, 2024,

from 4-6 pm in the Periodical Room.

We hope to see a big turnout to wish David the best in his new role and to thank him for all he has done over his time at the

Conway Public Library.

Cake and light refreshments will be served.

Saturday Day Program

Winter in the Woods

Come learn the fascinating ins and outs of winter and how the animals and plants adapt to nature in our frozen area. On January 6th at 10:30am Valley Naturalist. Clare Long will be in the Ham Room.

Winter in the Woods will answer these questions: How do animals withstand the cold & freezing temperatures? How does the weather & snow impact where and how they live? How do plants survive the winter season in NH?

Day Time Monthly Meetings

AARP Course

AARP Courses will be held on the 1st Friday of each month starting on

January 5th at 10:30am

in the Ham Room.

For the first two months, the course will be "AARP is here in NH." Get the scoop about the programs and activities AARP offers. Such as fun social events, local discounts, advocacy efforts, learning opportunities, & staying connected - in person and virtually.

The Knitting Guild

On the 1st Monday of the month from 10:00am to 12:00pm, The Knitting Guild will meet in the Ham Room. Starting on January 8th, 2024 the theme is "Finish It or RIP it." Bring in your unfinished work to have members advise whether to finish or RIP the project.

In 2024 each meeting will have a theme to work from, so check out the CPL's calendar for updated themes.

All are welcome to join.

New Dates for After School Programs

Join our weekly VEX Robotics and 3D printing club! On Tuesdays starting at 4pm in the Ham Room.

On every Thursday, at 4pm Spring Cohort Minecraft will meet up in the Ham Room. Registration is required.

First Meet up will be on January 10th. After January, Maker Madness will meet on the last Wednesday of the month in the Ham Room at 4pm.

On the third Monday of the Month, Conway Public Library's Book Group will be meeting in the Periodical Room, at 4pm to discuss the current book pick.
