Reducing organic materials sent to landfills
|
Every second Wednesday of the month at 7:30 a.m., the Chamber brings stakeholders together to focus community resources, time and talent to achieve greater understanding of issues, obstacles and opportunities related to Pleasanton 2025: A Community Vision.
In case you missed it last week, our August Pleasanton 2025 Forum featured reducing organic materials sent to landfills with guest speaker Becky Hopkins, Assistant to the City Manager, City of Pleasanton. Becky reviewed the implications of SB 1383, passed in 2016. SB 1383 will require a reduction in organic materials sent to landfills and will have a significant impact on our businesses and community.
