2024 Sales Tax Measure - survey | |
Sales Tax Measure Heading
Among our many roles, the Pleasanton Chamber of Commerce advocates on behalf of business. This includes reviewing proposals that may come before local voters and asking Chamber members to weigh in with their opinion. In 2024, there is a proposal that will be voted on this fall.
On July 16, 2024, the Pleasanton City Council approved that a sales tax measure be placed on the November ballot. The Chamber would like to hear your thoughts on this. To do so, we ask that you complete a short, two-question survey: 2024 Sales Tax Measure - survey. There is an introduction to the survey that includes important background information. It is a bit long and contains links to two documents you may want to review prior to answering the survey. There is also a link to the ballot measure itself, as authorized by the City of Pleasanton.
Please take all the time you need to get the information you need before completing the survey, including contacting the Chamber with your questions, but make sure you click “submit” when you are done. The Board of Directors will take your input into consideration when it debates whether to take a position on the sales tax.
Here is the link again: 2024 Sales Tax Measure - survey. Please let me know if you have any questions. Thank you in advance for participating in our survey!
Best regards,
James Cooper
