CTSI Announcement

Mock NIH Study Section

Training for Bench, Clinical, Biomedical, Translational

and Population Health Researchers

Application Deadline: Feb.26, 2024

Are you planning on submitting your first R01 proposal to the NIH for the June 5th (or July 5th), 2024 deadlines? Would you like to see what happens when NIH proposals are reviewed and get feedback on your proposal from BU faculty?

Can you commit to having a draft of your proposal ready for review by early April? The CTSI will conduct a mock NIH study section on April 30 from 1 – 4 PM

for BU faculty that have not previously received R-level funding from the NIH

The CTSI will also sponsor a 7-session R Proposal Writing Workshop that will meet over the summer to help new investigators prepare first R01 proposals for the October 2024 deadline. This workshop will conclude with a similar mock study section for Workshop participants in early September 2024.

More information is coming soon!
