NYWC is partnering with The Redwood to bring primary and mental health supports to women, trans and non-binary folks at 116 Industry Street. The Redwood Mobile Healing Centre is a bus, fully outfitted with a medical exam room and a client consultation area, that will provide supports around gender-based violence, mental health, primary health care, sexual health, and maternal/infant care.

The bus will be on-site for the first time on Monday, July 11 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. It will return once a month.

If you have clients that would benefit from this service, you or your clients can contact Shazma Nafis at shazma@nywc.org or call the Centre at 416-781-0479. Please note that Shazma works part-time and may not be available to respond right away.

We are delaying the start of the Empowered Migrant Mothers Program to include more participants. If you know a newcomer mother who would appreciate a program that addresses the challenges of parenting, please share our program information.
