GMBA Celebrates Women's History Month with Tina Cross of
McCabe's Printing Group
With March being Women’s History month, GMBA endeavors to highlight some members who are women owned. With that in mind, we recently interviewed Tina Cross of McCabe’s Printing Group.
Printing companies across the country were hard hit by the pandemic when events were cancelled and restaurants were closed. Normally restaurants require menu printings, weddings require invitations and save the date postcards, and graduations and sports programs require printed programs. Tina put on her thinking cap and successfully guided her business and her team through that difficult time.

Here's what she told us about where things stand now.
“My role as the owner of McCabe’s Printing Group stretches far beyond the walls of our office. So many lives are touched by the printing and support we provide to businesses and non-profits in our community. Our focus is always on the customer and how to guide them to the print product or service that best suits their needs. Our team also strives to teach customers so they understand what is happening throughout the printing and mailing process.
"A bonus I hadn’t expected, this industry has led me to meet so many wonderful people and learn about organizations which change and help the lives of so many and for which I love to create awareness for and create connections. We have collected Baby Items, Toys, Clothes, Coats and Shoes and have donated money and printing to help our community non-profits.
"This year, McCabe’s celebrates 42 years in business. We proudly display our special commendation from the Virginia House of Delegates. McCabe’s was also chosen as a neighborhood favorite in our NextDoor community, and I was awarded Alignable’s Business Person of the Year this year.
"Our services include printing, mailing, posters and personalized promotional items. For inspiration, you can view our Sample Gallery on our website, and find answers to questions you may have about the printing process. Please visit our website at www.mccabesprinting.com. We also have an online presence on Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn.

"We appreciate all of you who entrust us with your printing needs, and I can attest how important “shop local” is to our team and to those in the community we continue to assist."
McCabe's is located in Merrifield at 8451 Hilltop Road. Stop by to meet the staff and the wonderfully cute shop mascot, Ruby!
