STAFF PICKS!

The Torrent

by Dinuka McKenzie

This is the first book in the series, which is set in a fictional town in the Northern Rivers region of NSW. It features Detective Kate Miles, who balances her long, dangerous workdays with the pressures of motherhood and dealing with the resentments and worries of her stay-at-home-dad husband. Read this if you've enjoyed Val McDermid's Karen Pirie series or Jane Harper's Aaron Falk series. - Krista PLACE HOLD

My favourite mistake

by Marian Keyes

This book is an enjoyable read, featuring the author's trademark humour and relatable characters. Fans of the author will appreciate this engaging and heartfelt story, which stays true to her distinctive storytelling style. - Jayne PLACE HOLD

What happened to Nina?

by Dervla McTiernan

A propulsive story about the devastating effects of violence on loved ones and how social media (and the people who have the money to control it) shapes what we see as true. I couldn’t stop reading this! - Sally
