Thank you, Volunteers!

It's been a busy time for Misty Eyes volunteers...the Fresh Thyme Birthday Celebration on May 18, and the Avon Gardens Peony Festival on May 19 were both fun, successful events! Kudos to the Community Outreach Team for your dedication and hard work in making sure the mission and goals of Misty Eyes are kept in the forefront within our community.

York CDJR of Plainfield

Our good friends at York Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ram of Plainfield have once again invited us to participate in a community outreach event at their facility located at 2695 East Main Street in Plainfield on Monday, May 20, from 3:30 pm-7:00 pm. York has been a wonderful supporter of Misty Eyes, and they've been very generous to us.

We will have an information booth at the dealership and will have several of our great foster dogs available to meet York's customers. Michele Devine, Community Outreach Coordinator, and Ida Schnabel, the "Face of Misty Eyes," will be covering the information booth. Thank you to the Wallace family, Mindy Elliott and Beth Morefield for bringing your amazing foster dogs to this event! This is not an adoption event; the dogs will be present as ambassadors for Misty Eyes.

Amazon Team Event

Misty Eyes has a great relationship with Amazon, and the team at a local Amazon warehouse has invited us to have a booth at their location on Wednesday, May 22, 5:20 pm-6:45 pm so that team members can learn more about Misty Eyes. They would love it if a couple of our foster dogs could visit briefly, as well. This is not an adoption event; it's just a way to let the Amazon team get to know more about us and the wonderful animals we have in our foster program. We do have one dog who will be attending, but it would be even better if we could have a couple more ambassador dogs in attendance. If you have the time and can make your foster dog available for a brief visit, please contact Michele Devine as soon as possible. If you can help us to spread the word about Misty Eyes, please sign up for this event!
