Missouri Supreme Court Puts Pro-Abortion Amendment 3 Back on the Ballot

Last Friday, in the challenge to the Certification of Amendment 3 for the November ballot, Cole County Judge Christopher Limbaugh, found that the proponents of Amendment 3 “…purposely decided not to include even the most basic statutes that would be repealed, at least in part, by Amendment 3”. Judge Limbaugh found that the failure to disclose was “… in blatant violation of the sufficiency requirements…” under Missouri statutes.

Based on that decision and further review of the qualifications for certification, Secretary of State Jay Ashcroft, removed Amendment 3 from the ballot.

Then, on September 10, the Missouri Supreme Court reversed Judge Limbaugh’s decision and ordered the Secretary of State to take steps necessary to ensure that Amendment 3 be on the November ballot. The opinions of the justices were not available at the time of this press release.

We are extremely disappointed in this decision. Essentially, the decision of the court tells anyone, present or future, working to advance any initiative petition in the State of Missouri that its ok to not be transparent with the public, its ok to violate the legal requirements that are in place to protect the voters and tax payers of Missouri so that they know what they are signing and know what they are voting for or against on election day.

Voting is one of the most important things you can do this year to help unborn babies and their mothers who are threatened by abortion. Your vote enables you to be a voice for the voiceless.

Did you know that a little over 30% of the citizen voting-age population is not registered to vote? These could be some of your neighbors, friends, or even immediate family members.

Please talk to your friends and relatives and get them registered to vote in this critical election to protect babies and moms, parents and taxpayers. We also encourage voter registration drives to be initiated all around the state. Voter registration efforts can be conducted by individuals, churches, and other organizations.

Let’s do all we can to make sure pro-life individuals are registered to vote and turn out in November (or earlier, by mail or through in-person early voting).

MRL PAC Urges Missourians to Vote NO on Amendment 3 on November 5

The radical pro-abortion amendment, Amendment 3, has received a sufficient number of valid signatures to be placed on the ballot at the November 5, 2024, General Election. Amendment 3, if passed by voters, would allow abortion all nine months of pregnancy, even after the unborn child can feel excruciating pain.

Missouri Right to Life PAC has launched a “Vote NO” campaign to protect women, girls and babies from this extreme abortion amendment.

Regardless of what pro-abortion supporters are saying, Missouri’s current pro-life laws have a life of the mother exception and allow women to get the care they need in ectopic or miscarriage pregnancies.

Many of you are seeking “Vote NO on Amendment 3” yard signs. We have more on order to be delivered to your local areas soon.

It’s a blessing that SO many Missourians are working to get the word out to VOTE NO ON AMENDMENT 3 and want to advertise it from their homes!

Please be patient. Signs are on the way!

Thank you!
