Camp Hanover welcomes guests for a variety of events in April and May.

Common Chords

Music lovers will appreciate the return of Common Chords on April 20 and May 18. From 7 to 10 p.m., the sounds of bluegrass and gospel fill Wise Lodge. Bring an instrument to join the open jam session or come just to listen. 

Fun Day

Everyone is welcome on Sunday, April 30, for Fun Day. At this free afternoon event, experience Camp Hanover's activities, meet the staff, and enjoy the beautiful grounds. 

Mini Camp

Registration for Spring Mini Camp closes soon. This weekend event, April 21-23, is open to campers in grades 5 through 12.

Family Camp

From relaxation to adventure, there is something for every generation at Family Camp. Registration is open now for this fun weekend, May 19-21.

Presbytery Group to Visit Guatemala April 17-24

Pray for members of Presbytery of the James and Presbytery of the Peaks as they travel to Guatemala next week on a joint mission and learning trip. Pray also for the people in Guatemala, for unity, reconciliation, and forgiveness between the different political, ethnic, and religious groups, and for justice and equal access to services for those most at risk.

SDOP seeks your help in identifying community organizations working to help disadvantaged groups. Organizations are invited to learn about funding grants from SDOP at workshops occurring May 9 and July 11. Share information about the grant and funding workshops with groups in your area.
