A Monthly Series for Serving Faithfully

“God calls the Church to gather as the Body of Christ at other times and places to learn, pray, serve, and enjoy Christian fellowship. ... These gatherings present valuable opportunities for reading, studying, and discussing the Scriptures; Christian formation and nurture; praying for one another, the church, and the world; sharing personal stories, celebration, and concerns; common work, meals, fellowship, and recreation; and living out the gospel through acts of witness and service.”

The Rev. Danny Morales will stand with the Rev. Dr. Marian McClure Taylor for Co-Moderator of the 226th General Assembly

The Rev. Danny Morales will stand with the Rev. Dr. Marian McClure Taylor for Co-Moderator of the 226th General Assembly.

“Marian and I want to walk hand in hand with everyone who is on our journey,” Morales said. “Personally, I would like to lift the challenges and struggles faced by our small congregations, while helping larger congregations to thrive even more. We See You!

Because Presbyterians are good at bringing hope out of chaos.

During a National Response Team gathering at Mo-Ranch for volunteers with Presbyterian Disaster Assistance, members of Mission Presbytery joined them to recount their experiences with Hurricane Harvey, the shootings in Uvalde, the Interfaith Welcome Committee, and the organizing of SPDR (Synod Presbytery Disaster Response). It was a lovely surprise that so many of the people from across the country who had supported and cared for Mission Presbytery during those difficult times were in the room!

Because Presbyterians love writing cards.

Volunteers gathered at Covenant Presbyterian Church in Austin for their first ever card writing ministry session. Together, they wrote and prayed over 59 cards for our Covenant family members in need of a little encouragement.
