"All are warmly invited for a day of fellowship, learning, and celebration to mark the conclusion of the pilot program of 'An Episcopal Path to Creation Justice,' a new initiative from the dioceses of Western Massachusetts and Massachusetts to equip churches for deep and broad work in creation care.
The event will feature presentations by Dr. Mary Evelyn Tucker and, joining virtually, Bill McKibben and Robin Wall-Kimmerer, as well as opportunities for conversation and reflection. The day will conclude with a celebratory Eucharist officiated by Bishop Carol Gallagher."

Celebrating Our Embodied Vocations: Meeting Jesus in Our Encounters with Disability

Presenter: Dr. Diana Ventura
This online retreat will be a virtual space of healing reflection, prayer, and guided meditations. Participants will be invited to explore how to meet Jesus in the everyday challenges of living with a disability. Through a series of meditations and online activities based on biblical passages and other spiritual narratives of people with disabilities, participants will be led to an encounter with Jesus, disability and vulnerability to nurture renewed compassion and love.

Slate of 4 bishops announced for 28th presiding bishop of The Episcopal Church | |
[Episcopal News Service] "The Episcopal Church’s next presiding bishop will be chosen this June from a slate of four nominees, whose names were released April 2: Nebraska Bishop J. Scott Barker, Pennsylvania Bishop Daniel G.P. Gutiérrez, Atlanta Bishop Robert Wright and Northwestern Pennsylvania Bishop Sean Rowe, who also serves as bishop provisional of the Diocese of Western New York.
Those four bishops – and any additional candidates nominated by petition – will be presented for election at the 81st General Convention, which convenes June 23-28 in Louisville, Kentucky."

Creation Care Justice Network |
The Creation Care Justice Network in Massachusetts is a group of Episcopalians from across our state who are committed to faith-based environmental justice and climate action. They draw upon the strong environmental messages from our bishops and The Episcopal Church as well as our diocesan mission to protect creation and seek ways to work collaboratively to address the climate crisis in a just and equitable way.
