An Episcopal Path to Creation Justice | |
Now Enrolling Province I Parishes for the Path
An Episcopal Path to Creation Justice is a four-level program now being developed in Massachusetts to encourage and support our congregations to amplify and accelerate their response to the climate emergency.
After a successful pilot, An Episcopal Path to Creation Justice is growing in Fall 2024. Parishes around Province I can sign up by the end of August to explore their unique Path.
Path parishes will have a trained Companion walking with them as they discern how their parish can deepen their commitment to caring for creation by Praying, Learning, Acting, and Advocating. Path parishes will also be in fellowship with each other via monthly Zoom gatherings.
If you think your parish might be interested, speak with your rector and vestry and reach out to Rev. Rachel Field and Deb Baker at episcopalcreationpath@gmail.com

Loving the Questions offering informational Zoom webinar on September Sept. 10th
6:30-7:30pm
| |
|
God says, “Stand at the crossroads, and look, and ask for the ancient paths, where the good way lies; and walk in it, and find rest for your souls."
Jeremiah 6.16
All of life is permeated with questions and question marks, and that most certainly applies to our spiritual lives. Loving the Questions is a community of discernment that addresses what it means to live with and into the questions that each of us hold. The primary attention in our community is to prayerfully and intentionally ask again and again how God is present in my life and the life of my neighbor, and what I need to let go of within and without to answer this first question.
Participants often come with questions. What is God’s will for my life? How can I be more present to God? What does it mean for me to live my best life? What might this look like? Is what I want truly what God wants for me? Is what I want best for myself and others? Perhaps there is something I’m missing? Perhaps there is something I’m blind to and can’t see? Can I be more attentive to the present moment? … These, and many others, are the kinds of questions that we explore together in our community.
We believe that you are unique, that you are gifted, and that your story matters. Our stories come to life when they are shared, and when they are heard and witnessed by other loving hearts. We invite participants into a practice where deep listening begins to unfold, and where this can be practiced and brought to bear in the wider scope of our lives. Our community of discernment aims to provide a safe and nurturing environment that honors the Spirit’s unique call to each person — that honors your unique gifts and your unique story.
If you are curious to hear more, or are considering participating with us in the coming 2024-25 cohort, please join us in an exploratory webinar...
