On December 16, AACI's Clinical Research Innovation (CRI) hosted a webinar in which presenters shared a case study of virtual monitoring and auditing, which has been in effect at at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSK) since 2011 and has become especially relevant during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The webinar was presented by Karima Yataghene, MD, director of clinical research quality assurance, and Michael Buckley, MS, MBA, enterprise clinical research innovation manager, both of MSK.

AACI's Physician Clinical Leadership Initiative (PCLI) hosted a webinar on December 17, in which presenters described how advance practice providers (APP), such as registered nurses and physician assistants, can help ease the burden on the oncology workforce and enhance patient care.

The presenters were John Sweetenham, MD, FRCP, FACP, FASCO, associate director for clinical affairs, and Angela F. Bazzell, DNP, APRN, FNP-BC, AOCNP, nurse practitioner, both of Simmons Comprehensive Cancer Center, UT Southwestern Medical Center.
