Greetings!
Although it has been one of the mildest winters we have seen in a long time, we didn't schedule any classes or workshops due to the unpredictability of winter in Indiana. So now its time to announce the first of the classes this year. Keep in mind that if you are considering any of the classes, we'd like to make it a little easier for you to commit to joining us. If you register and pre-pay for three or more of the upcoming classes, you will save 10% on each class you choose. You can register online, by phone (812-597-4346), or when you visit the shop. Don't wait, space is limited to 5 students per session.
First, we'd like to introduce you to a series of small scale classes that we're calling Secret Book of the Month. Last year, we hosted a small class in which we did our first Secret Book. We all enjoyed the class so much that we thought of the possibility of doing a "book of the month." After some debate and scheduling discussions, Pat Angrick and I selected a number of "books" that we think will be delighful and provide the basis for several days of miniature socializing. Anyone is welcome to join us, but be prepared to work in one of the smallest scales in miniature. This is a great opportunity to try a small scale under Pat's helpful guidance.
In addition to the secret book series, we are offering several other classes, which we also describe in this newsletter.
With the exception of the Basic Wiring Class, which begins at 10:30 am, all of the classes will begin at 10 am and most run the entire day, with a break for lunch. For a brief overview, check out the details below. Information on the classes is also provided online. In this workshop, we will create a book that includes a secret slide out with two rooms. Wallpaper and flooring as well as all materials
necessary to create a table
with an egg decorating display on the top, two chairs, a bookcase/dresser and two
carrot beds. The scale is approximately 1/144.

Paid registration for any of the Secret Room workshops, Punchneedle Rug, and Stained Glass classes is required two weeks prior to class date. You can register online, by telephone, or in the shop.
