The sun enters FEBRUARY at 12 AQUARIUS, a fixed air sign.  His Symbol is the water bearer.  He is not a water sign. He is a fixed air sign, gifted in communication. THE YEAR OF THE METAL OX

The Chinese New Year will start on February 12th, and it will last until January 31st of 2022. The Ox is the second of the twelve zodiac signs. This year is predicted to be a lucky and a perfect time to focus on both friendships and love. The Ox is hardworking and methodical. 2021 is going to be a year when hard work will be rewarded. We will feel the weight of our responsibilities, a year to double our efforts to accomplish our goals.
This is a Metal year, for the second successive year, and the color for this Metal Ox year is white.

THE NEW NORMAL

I enjoyed an Astrology class with Susan Gidel, a financial analyst who spent most of her life in the world of stocks and the financial markets. 
She has a interesting thought about Covid. We have been in an earth cycle for 200 years, and now we are in an Air Cycle. Covid is an air virus - passed through the air. Susan says, Covid has pushed us faster into the air cycle. We are using more technology and rely more on the internet since Covid. 25% of us now work at home. We now digitize, we use the internet for food, to get information, to entertain us and to zoom with friends and relatives.
We have no idea what this air cycle will bring us for the next hundred years. It is a time of information, technology, inventions and rebellion. There will be a change in stock market preferences, as we have gone from physical to digital. Sue said her favorite stocks will relate to air/energy/ health and brain sectors.
