MileStone Academy's
March 2021 News & Updates
Hi Everyone,

Celebrating Women Here, There, Everywhere!

Since 1987, March is a dedicated time of reflection on the often-overlooked contributions of women to United States history. From Abigail Adams to Susan B. Anthony, Sojourner Truth to Rosa Parks, the timeline of women’s past milestones stretches back to the founding of the United States.

MileStone pledged to not just honor women from the United States, but women all over the world. Women who are everything from honorable to ingenious to game changer.

Celebrate Women’s History Day and Month with MileStone Academy by following us on Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Pinterest, and Twitter. We will be sharing compelling stories and videos honoring women who have and are paving a way for us and our future.

Here's some quick updates about MSA Students:
Students had to create an observational drawing of a seashell of their choice using pencil, and focusing on details such as shading, value, and texture. Here are some of the final products!
During the 2021 inauguration, students wrote down words that stuck out to them to reflect on what their new President has to offer them. All our students will be old enough to vote for our next Presidential Election, and they will be prepared for it. We all look forward to seeing how our civically engaged students grow!
Welcome Ms. Jackson and Ms. Smith to MileStone Academy’s science curriculum. They are both student teachers from Arcadia University. Join us in a warm welcome to our MileStone family.
