Mike Levine Is Running to Protect Floridians From Mass Inflationism

One of the most pressing issues we face is the cost of living crisis that has severely impacted our state and our community.

Lake County’s household income lags $10,000 below the state average, and with inflation becoming the norm, this puts immense pressure on our low-income households.

The Live Local Act, which was enacted in 2023, was supposed to promote affordable housing opportunities across Florida. However, it has had the unintended consequence of inflating the housing market and circumventing local city councils and county commissions on high-density multi-family apartment complex approvals.

What concerns me the most is how developers are using taxpayer dollars to build these high-density complexes for illegal aliens living in our state.

Under the State Apartment Incentive Loan (SAIL) program, our hard-earned tax dollars are funding the construction of housing units that will damage our quality of life by adding buildings to the housing supply that will deteriorate at an unacceptable pace. Affordable housing complexes deteriorate the quality of life in the surrounding communities. More housing units may temporarily relieve pressure on the undersupplied housing inventory, but at what cost? Once we deport the 900,000+ illegal immigrants currently residing in our state, there will not be a need for these affordable housing complexes.

That's why we need to elect America-First conservative fighters to the Florida House of Representatives who will fight for mass deportations.

My plan to protect Floridians from mass inflation and improve housing affordability is rooted in the conservative principle of limited government. Any sustainable strategy must involve state and local governments working in tandem with communities, the private sector, and regulatory actors. By reducing government overreach and promoting collaboration, we can achieve economic prosperity for all Floridians.
