EDITION 03

Dear Friend,

The Lord says to us as mighty men, "It is time to dream for your family again." We live in an age where the enemy comes to rob your children of their identity, destiny, and gender. Their values and beliefs are being shaped by social media, friends and social engineering in their schools. Your children will become what the world calls them to be or who you call them to be.

"The father without a dream raises his sons and daughters without a destiny" (Bill Johnson).

David is a father who had a dream, and Solomon is the son who fulfilled his father's dream to build a Temple in Jerusalem to honour God. David was a great warrior and a great worshipper, but sadly. he was not that great of a dad.

David allowed conflict among some of his sons to plunge his family into tragedy. His oldest son, Amnon, rapes and then shames his half-sister, Tamar (2 Samuel 13:1-19). Tamar's full-brother, Absalom, hates Amnon for that crime but does not speak to him about it. David knows of the matter but decides to ignore the situation (2 Sam. 13:21).

Like David, we have all failed as parents through our inaction and sometimes hurtful words. Despite his failings, he began to dream about building a Temple to honour the Lord and have a place of worship for the people. God told David that he could not build the temple himself because of the blood on his hands (I Chron. 28:3). David began to impart and share that dream with his son, who would become king and fulfill the dream of his father (I Chron. 28:6-7).

Men, what is the dream God has given you for your family? It is time to seek the Lord and get a dream for your generational legacy. You have the power to bless the identity, destiny and dreams of your sons and daughters. Dreams come from intimacy with God and walking with other dreamers in your Mighty Man Network.

It is not too late to learn how to speak words of blessing. Join us at the Mighty Man - Father Son Camp and experience the power of the Father's love in your life and learn how to impart that love to your sons and daughters.

We are here to serve you so that you can serve other men.

Mighty Man Camp

Father/Son Rite of Passage

Who is this weekend for?

It is for all men and any son or grandson between the ages of 12 and 30 who have never been blessed and released into manhood.  It is a place where boys become men and dads become fathers.

Topics Include:

Four Things That Make a True Man

  • A man and his work- what is God calling you to do?
  • A man and his worth – what does it mean to be a man of integrity?
  • A man and his relationship with a woman – how to treat women in your life.
  • A man and his walk with God – learn what it takes to be a man of God.

Rite of Passage: Calling Sons into Manhood!

How does a boy know he is a man? It's when his father blesses him and releases him into manhood. We facilitate this opportunity for you at our Father/Son Rite of Passage weekend.

Your first Mission, should you choose to accept it, is to find 4 other men who will become part of your M5 Network™
One of the enemy's strategies is to isolate us, as men, so that we feel we have to fight this battle for our families on our own. In the bible, we find Gideon hiding all alone in a wine press when the angel of the Lord speaks to him, “The LORD is with you, O mighty man of valour.” (Judges 6:12) The angel then instructs Gideon to find other mighty men to help him defeat the enemies of the people of God.
Your M-5 Network will be your support team to help you accomplish your kingdom missions for your family. It is essential that you pray and carefully choose the 4 men God is calling you to do life with. Once you have picked your M5 team members, these are your instructions.

Your Mission Instructions
  • Have each man register for the Mighty Man Network™ on the link below.
  • Make a name for your group - Examples: The 5 Amigos, Gideon's Army,...
  • Register the men and the name of your group in the M5 message space.
  • Set a date and a time that you will meet for 1 hour each week to share life, connect at a heart level, support each other, learn God's word and lock shields together in prayer. (My personal group meets Monday morning at 7:00 am).
