February 5-7, 2024

Tuesday, February 6, 2024

We're glad you're a part of the Power in the Spirit online community this week. This morning's e-devotional includes a poem, an image, and a recorded message.

We will gather on Zoom with our Bible Study leader and workshop presenters tonight! Please look for an email around noon each day of this event or find the confirmation email you received when you registered for the Zoom link to connect. We will open the Zoom room at 5:30 PM.

After each evening's presentations, we'll bring our time to a close with Evening Prayer at 7:05 PM.

On behalf of the Power in the Spirit planning team, we would like to thank you for being part of our community this week. We invite you to use this morning's devotion to learn about Dorcas.

Peace be with you,

Pastor Wesley Smith, Donna Gum, and Edith Blake

BIBLE STUDY LEADER

Dorcas, swaddling clothes, and other fabric we ponder in our heart

Dorcas (also called Tabitha), a resident of Joppa (Israel), was beloved for her assistance to those who were living in poverty. She is remembered for her charitable works, particularly making clothing for needy widows. When she died, Peter restored her to life.
