At Mid-State RBERN, our mission is to help school communities create educational environments that are safe, equitable and culturally relevant for English Language Learners (ELLs).

Our office strengthens educators, parents and local communities with free technical assistance, professional learning and resource materials for 9 BOCES and 126 school districts. We support the Office of Bilingual Education & World Languages (NYSED) initiatives.

ELL/ML Student Stories

Share a Success Story

Our English Language Learners (ELLs) and Multilingual Learners (MLs) inspire us with their incredible resilience, determination, and perseverance. Their stories illustrate diverse experiences, showcasing varying strengths and abilities. Through their stories, we hope to highlight the richness of their narratives throughout the Mid-State Region.

Mid-State RBERN's Monthly Newsletters will highlight the outstanding work and stories of our ELLs/MLs, recognizing and sharing their inspiring journeys to success.
