Newton Community Pride is pleased to announce our 2022 Fall NCP Community Micro Grant recipients! These grant recipients will bring quality arts & culture programming, service, and beautification projects consistent with NCP’s mission to Newton over the next several months. We proudly support their programming and projects with additional financial support and urge the community to attend and enjoy these community events.
Recipients:
Andromeda Belly Dance - Performance of Middle Eastern, North African, Hellenic, and Turkish dance
Container Gardening Program – Beautification project providing container gardens for up to 40 residents of the Newton Housing Authority Horace Mann complex
Don’t Forget Your Art! – Event series designed to give artists & performers of varying experiences an opportunity to show their talent in public
Slam Theatre – Plays performed/read, dance, & slam poetry, with themes of American history and values, the value of education, Afrocentricity

The Giving Season
Earlier this week, Giving Tuesday was celebrated around the globe as a day to give back and support your favorite nonprofit.
