Holds Local Business Engagement Workshop 2022
| On Tuesday, October 25, the Miami-Dade County Asian American Advisory Board, Strategic Procurement Department, and City of North Miami Beach presented Local Business Engagement Workshop 2022 - Grow Your Business With The County at Marjorie & William McDonald Center in North Miami Beach. More than 35 community business owners participated to learn three easy steps to become a registered vendor and do business with Miami-Dade County and to discover the many bidding opportunities available with Miami-Dade County. In addition, Miami-Dade County Public Schools Office of Economic Opportunity, City of North Miami Beach Procurement Office and City of North Miami Beach CRA provided information for business development and opportunities. City of North Miami Beach Commissioner Daniela Jean provided the welcoming remarks. | Interfaith Advisory Board members Lama Karma Chotso and Claudia Miro respectively opened the October 6 and October 18 Board of County Commissioners' meeting by offering words of wisdom and a prayer. | Interfaith Advisory Board Chairman Dr. Juan Barek was featured on “Hoy con Tomas Regalado” on Mega TV where he shared the board's history, mission, and future endeavors throughout Miami-Dade County. | Miami-Dade County Commission for Women Monthly Meeting | The Miami-Dade County Commission for Women held its most recent meeting on October 25.
