On February 15, the Office of Community Advocacy and the Florida Department of Health (DOH) hosted a health fair in the Stephen P. Clark Government Center. Attendees received various free health screenings, flu shots, and information on HIV/AIDS prevention and treatments.

Social service assistance at the Libraries

The Miami-Dade Public Library System helps residents access much needed social services and resources, including information on housing, homeless placement, food, mental health, and other government assistance. Two social workers are on staff to help.
