Upcoming Promotions

In 2022 we'll see a new events and a return of several favorites. A few highlights for the year ahead include: Spring Market (May), Kids Takeover (June), Juneteenth Celebration (June), Breakdancing (June), Movies Under the Stars, Restaurant Week (July), Downtown Throwdown (September), Haunted Downtown (October), and Small Business Saturday (November 26). Annual Meeting

Please accept this as an invitation to participate in the MDA Annual Meeting either virtually or in person on Thursday, January 20, 2021, at 7:30pm. The meeting location will be Lotsa Balls, 25 New Street. All of our teams will provide an update on what they are working on. Awards will be given out including our prestigious Volunteer of the Year!

Only the first 30 people to complete the RSVP form and selection “in person” will be accommodated. This is so we may maintain social distancing requirements. Masks will be required. Light refreshments will be served following the conclusion of the meeting. Please RSVP no later than Friday, January 14, 2022.

  • Cinnaholic, vegan bakery with cinnamon rolls and choice of toppings, 33 New St.
  • Suite Metuchen, an upscale event space to accommodation weddings, parties, pop-up-shops, sweet sixteens and everything in between, opening at 406 Main St.
  • Sew Official Salon Suites, beauty and wellness suites to encourage and help entrepreneurs start and own their business, opening at 403 Main St.
  • King Strength Performance, making consistent fitness easy through quality strength training combined with great community, opening at 67 Pearl Street.
  • Rita's Italian Ice, sells mainly Italian ice, frozen custard, and specialty creations, opening at 640 Middlesex Ave.
  • The Hair Loft, a locally owned, eco-conscious salon, moving from 403 Main Street to 476 Main Street.
  • Namkeen Hot Chicken + Waffles, is a Pakistani twist to Nashville hot chicken. They will open a new restaurant at 410 Main Street.
