New Jersey Symphony Free Summer Concert, July 2, 7:30pm
Enjoy the sounds of your New Jersey Symphony under the stars! This free outdoor program features a tribute to Sondheim, Sousa’s ode to his time in New Jersey in “The Atlantic City Pageant” and so much more. An inspiring performance by the New Jersey Symphony Youth Orchestra’s Henry Lewis Concerto Competition winner rounds out this concert of favorites the whole family will love. See more here.

Juneteenth Celebration (Saturday June 18th 6pm to 8pm) – An evening of discussion and performances on the Town Plaza. A movie night afterwards will focus on Afrofuturism. Enjoy artwork with Afrofuturism focus at downtown businesses. Celebrate this state holiday with the NAACP of Edison Metuchen and Metuchen HRC!

Kids Takeover (Tuesday June 21st 1pm to 5pm) – The last day of school! This annual event is back and day for kids and families to get out and unwind before summer officially begins!

Pride on the Plaza (Saturday June 25th 5pm to 8pm) - student representatives from Metuchen's Gay-Straight Alliance, Story Hour, and activities on the Town Plaza. Followed by Birdcage movie night at 9pm.
