Upcoming Promotions

  • Winter Restaurant Week, February 21-27, 2022. Participating restaurants will provide prix fixe or special items. "Frequent Diner" punch cards will be provided for patrons to fill out as they eat out at participating restaurants during the week. A drawing for a gift card will be done from punch cards collected.
  • Lunar New Year, February 12, 2022, 11am. We will have dancers, kids stories, and crafts. Event is held jointly by the Metuchen Downtown Alliance and Metuchen Human Relations Commission.
  • Black History Month, throughout the month of February search downtown store windows to learn about stories and sentiments from prominent Black figures globally. Pick up a postcard at businesses and see if you can guess the word puzzle for a chance to win a $20 gift card.
  • Find Your Love Downtown, we're declaring the month of February LOVE LOCAL month for Downtown Metuchen! Stop and take a selfie with our red “M” on the Metuchen Town Plaza or celebrate Love Local month with a Valentine’s Day classic — the Love Letter. Read more here...
  • Windows of Understanding. Visit the "Windows of Understanding" Social Justice Public Art Initiative at Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices- Metuchen! Art will be at the Metuchen office through the end of February.

  • Banfield Pet Hospital, affordable, high-quality petcare for cats, dogs, kittens, and puppies, 349 Lake Ave, Suite 125.
  • Cinnaholic, vegan bakery with cinnamon rolls and choice of toppings, 33 New St.
  • Suite Metuchen, an upscale event space to accommodation weddings, parties, pop-up-shops, sweet sixteens and everything in between, opening at 406 Main St.
  • Rita's Italian Ice, sells mainly Italian ice, frozen custard, and specialty creations, opening at 640 Middlesex Ave.
  • The Hair Loft, a locally owned, eco-conscious salon, moving from 403 Main Street to 476 Main Street.
  • Namkeen Hot Chicken + Waffles, is a Pakistani twist to Nashville hot chicken. They will open a new restaurant at 410 Main Street.
