Choristers Guild 75th Anniversary Celebration

July 25th | Richmond, Va.

Body, Mind, Spirit, Voice!

Festival Worship Service and Reception

Greetings Choristers Guild Family,

Gatherings are an important part of family rituals. We come together for holidays, weddings, funerals, graduations, and birthdays to signify moments in the life of people important to us. At a recent family wedding, I realized it had been several years since I had seen some of the extended family members present, and we were thrilled to be reunited on a joyous occasion.

Our Choristers Guild family will soon gather to celebrate 75 years as an organization dedicated to enabling leaders who guide young singers in churches, schools, and communities around the world. Following the conclusion of the Choristers Guild Institute (July 22-25) in Richmond, VA, we will hold our celebratory worship service at 6:30pm on Thursday, July 25, at Reveille United Methodist Church. This service will allow us time to sing, listen, pray, and reflect on the incredible work that has taken place over three quarters of a century. The Choristers Guild team has been hard at work organizing a special service featuring hymns, newly commissioned choral and handbell anthems, litanies, and prayers that remind us of God’s calling in our lives as music leaders.

It's not too late to join us! I hope you will come gather with your extended Choristers Guild family in Richmond – some you know well and some you just haven’t met yet – as we mark this occasion. Come sing in the massed choir or join us in the pews.

As part of our 75th Anniversary event, the Choristers Guild Board of Directors is excited to announce the creation of the 75th Anniversary Fund. We have a bold goal to raise $75,000, representing $1,000 for each year our beloved organization has existed. This 75th Anniversary Fund will continue to support our mission of enabling leaders to nurture the musical and spiritual growth of children, youth, and adults. Contributions will support the work of our educational and training events, including the Choristers Guild Institute, and the creation of future educational and musical resources. We will kick-off this fundraising initiative in Richmond and seek to reach our goal through the end of 2024.

Will you join us in supporting Choristers Guild with a financial gift? If this organization has impacted your ministry, please use this opportunity to give thanks in a tangible way. I know for certain that my work in the church would not be possible without the connections and resources our organization provides, and I am excited to give back a small portion of what has been so freely given to me.

Donations can be made online through the Choristers Guild website, or you may send a check by mail to our office: Choristers Guild, 12404 Park Central Drive, Ste.100-S Dallas, Texas, 75251. Contact our national office if you would like a staff member to accept your donation by phone (469-398-3606).

Thank you for supporting the work of Choristers Guild. Here’s to the next 75 years of nurturing the musical and spiritual growth of children, youth, and adults!
