Dear Colleagues,
I am pleased to announce the next step in the search process for the Provost and Vice President of Academic Affairs for Idaho State University.
As you know, Fredi Giesler, Assistant Professor for Social Work and Chair of the Faculty Senate for 2024-25, along with Shane Hunt, Professor and Dean for the College of Business are co-chairing our nationwide search with the search firm Summit Search Solutions.
I would like to invite you to attend one of two scheduled listening sessions with our search committee, available both in-person and on Zoom. It is a time to share your views on the needs of the University. Your thoughts will help guide the committee as they work to create a job description.

I encourage your active engagement throughout the search. Identifying the next leader for our academic enterprise is an important step for Idaho State University and the opportunity to continue charting our bold path forward together. More information about the search process will be shared in the coming weeks with additional updates as we convene for the Fall semester 2024. For more information, visit the Provost search website.
