Message from the President!
Greetings everyone and welcome to an already-well-underway 2024! I cannot believe that January has come and gone already... of course that means we are closer to spring and summer, so it's all good!
Speaking of summer, that is when the Mill Creek Festival happens. This year it will be July 13th and 14th with a special VIP gala the evening of the 12th. And this year's Festival is partnering with the 2024 Town Center Concert series as the official kick-off of Mill Creek Summer! The first concert will be the 10th and feature one of the baddest acts around...The Infinity Project! This will get us all warmed up for the Festival only a couple days after, with even more great music, awesome food choices and of course arts and crafts and culture all over the place!
Planning for the Festival is already well underway as well, but we need your help! Our Festival Director, Valerie Claypool, has a lot on her plate. There is a team working with her, but the task list is long and distinguished; would you want to help?
We would like to build out the Festival committee a bit more and bring in some people who would like to help. Are you a planner who would like to make the VIP Gala the best ever? Are you an organizer that would like to network with area businesses so we can partner with them on space needs? Are you a logistics pro that would be interested in the behind the scenes work that goes into an event like this? We need you!
