At Christmastime, we hear the song of the angels singing "glory to the newborn king" as they celebrate the birth of Jesus. Later, when the Magi from the east arrive by following a star, they too ask to find the newborn king so they can worship him (Matthew 2:2).

The angels and the Magi offer glory to God, but only after he first brings glory to us.

"And the Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us, and we saw his glory, the glory as of the Father’s only Son, full of grace and truth." (John 1:14)

What is “glory?" Quite simply and remarkably, it is the visible radiance of God – His beauty and majesty, goodness and greatness unveiled to us...all of us.

Because of you, Cristo Rey Orlando High School is well on its way to opening our doors in 2025 to provide students the opportunity to experience the glory of the newborn King gifted to each of them. You are giving hundreds of students a new lens with which to see God's beauty and goodness in themselves and in the world. In this way, among many others,

you have given glory to the newborn King.

May the glory of God be radiant in you and through you this Christmas season and beyond.

Wishing you a Merry Christmas!
