New Catalog Update: Temporary Request Service Interruption

The University of Maine System Libraries (UMSL) will experience a temporary request service interruption from June to late September 2024 due to a long awaited library catalog system enhancement.

There will be a service interruption to UMS patrons’ ability to initiate a request online from Bangor Public Library, Maine State Library, Law & Legislative Reference Library, and from the statewide MaineCat system. In addition, public library patrons will be unable to initiate an online request from the UMS Libraries. However, during this period of service interruption, library patrons should contact their library for assistance in requesting materials through other means.

Requests from one UMS Library to another UMS Library will only be affected from June 7 through June 11, 2024.
