Hello MIFC Families,

March is a month of planning and reflection at MIFC. Most select teams have just completed their 2023 seasons with Founders Cup and Spring programs such as Juniors and a few spring teams are just getting under way. The club is busy planning and preparing for the next season. Registration for all Fall 2024 team-based programs opens April 1^st. Please make sure to register for fall recreational soccer, Select and XL tryouts and fall Juniors and Micro Soccer as soon as possible. The earlier families sign up makes the club planning process that much easier on staff to form teams and plan for tryouts, uniforms and fields. If you have any questions about which programs are right for your child or timing and costs you can see most of that information on our website under the Programs tab or feel free to reach out to us.  

The board of directors has been busy evaluating our programs and working on ways to make them better. One big initiative is hiring a new Director of Soccer who will help us translate our club mission and vision to on the field programs delivery. As parents and you can help in that process by getting involved in whatever capacity you can. Whether it be as a coach, referee, team manager or something as simple as bringing snacks to the game a successful youth sports experience has a connection to the community which you can provide. Please consider a role in whatever capacity you can.

MIHS Boys Soccer



MIFC is a proud sponsor of Mercer Island HS Boys Soccer. Head Coach Fikay Abolade is back with a loaded team!

We encourage you to come out and support our high school boys. Look for upcoming events such as MIFC night and opportunities for ball kids and game day experiences.

The spring boys season starts March 8^th away at Chief Sealth with the first home game on March 12^th vs Silas.
