Mental Health Awareness Month: Safe and Supportive Learning Environments

The U.S. Department of Education’s Best Practices Clearinghouse continues to uplift resources to help the field achieve our common goal of ensuring students’ mental health and well-being. Safe and supportive learning environments at school contribute significantly to student well-being. In such environments, each student feels a sense of belonging, experiences positive relationships with adults and peers, and has access to needed supports. The resources below and others on the Clearinghouse website can inform your efforts to build safe learning environments.

Find information on the Best Practices Clearinghouse calendar about upcoming events on mental health and other topics; Archived Events page for event recordings; Resource Library to access additional resources, including toolkits and reports.
