Carmel Family-

May is Mental Health Awareness month. Over the last couple of years, mental health has been a rising concern in our culture. Carmel offers a couple of resources for those looking for support or encouragement in the area of mental health:

Carmel Counseling Center:
The Carmel Counseling Center is a place of hope for healing and restoration. Our professionally licensed Christian Counselors assist with a wide range of mental health issues from: depression, anxiety, trauma, and child disorders to couples in distress. Learn more about the Carmel Counseling Center here

Compass & Light:
Carmel partner, Silent Images, created a series of short videos called “Compass & Light” to bring awareness & understanding to mental health issues. Watch here to learn more about mental health issues and better love those around you that might be struggling.

Praise & Prayer
Pray for Pastor Alex and Christy Kennedy and their kids as Pastor Alex begins his sabbatical. Pray that their time would provide needed rest, quality family time and renewed vision for the ministry where God has called them. We are thankful for Alex and Christy's faithfulness over the last 10 years and that they are able to take this much-needed break.
Praise for the opportunity to celebrate what God is doing last Sunday! Thank you for stepping out in faith and obedience to have gospel conversations and for your faithful giving towards church planting and Bible translation. We can’t wait to see where God leads from here!
