Dear Anne,

For more than 30 years, IoD Ireland has supported responsible leaders who believe in business as a force for good. A crucial part of IoD Ireland's purpose is to inform and influence how businesses address increasingly complex global challenges.

This demands continuous learning and education and a proactive approach to staying informed about best practices, regulatory changes, and emerging trends. Leading in Governance 2024, our flagship conference on October 24th, is therefore a must-attend event for all IoD Ireland members. Save the date now.

This time of year offers a valuable opportunity for directors and board members to refresh their knowledge and enhance their skills. In this ezine, we have details about our upcoming programmes, events and our latest articles and thought leadership content designed especially for members.

We are particularly delighted to bring you a special feature by Margot Slattery CDir, Global Head of Diversity, Inclusion, Belonging and Social Sustainability, ISS. In this piece, Margot outlines the values of DE&I, a force for innovation and growth.

We encourage you to take full advantage of all of these learning opportunities and resources.

Consultation

IoD Ireland has submitted a response to the IoD UK consultation on their proposed Code of Conduct for Directors. We responded to this consultation as the representative body for directors in Ireland with close links to IoD (UK). While remaining separate and independent, IoD Ireland and IoD UK collaborate on learning and education programmes, through the Global Network of Director Institutes (GNDI) international network, and on ad-hoc policy initiatives. Our full submission is available for members to read on our website.
