Healthy Kids Day

Saturday, April 20th, 10:00 am -1:00 pm FREE and open to the community


The Auburn YMCA-WEIU and Cayuga Community Health Network are partnering to celebrate Healthy Kids Day, a day recognized by YMCAs nationwide to inspire and promote healthy habits in children and families. We invite the community to this FREE event, including a community health fair and fun activities .We hope to see you there!

  • Family Movement and Exploration from the Y.
  • Kids Fun Zone - sponsored by Excellus and the Cayuga Community Health Network.
  • CAP - Car seat giveaways and safety.
  • Anti-Bullying with Randy Smith of Nick's Ride.
  • CCHP Kids On Wheels Safety Program.
  • Face Painting.
  • Auburn Fire Department and more.

Panera Auburn Y Preschool Fundraiser

Help our Auburn Y preschool raise funds by ordering dinner at our local Panera Bread. Twenty-five percent of sales will go back to the preschool.

Babysitter Training

Saturday, May 18th, 9:00 am- 2:00 pm

Ages 11-16

The Child and Babysitting Safety (CABS) program from ASHI teaches teenagers everything they need to know about safe and successful babysitting. The magazine-format CABS guide and vlogger-style video make learning fun. The class covers getting started, dealing with parents and children, key safety, caregiving, and first aid tips.

Writers Voice

Our friends at Writers Voice Online and the YCNY YMCA's Downtown Writers Center in Syracuse have built a thriving, supportive literary arts community over the last 20 years, and their programs are now open to all Y members online!

Kidventures

Weekly from July 1-August 23

Ages 3-5

Introducing Kidventures! A summer day camp combined with engaging hands-on learning activities to help children maintain and master school readiness skills, make friends, and have fun! The Auburn Y’s Kidventures program provides children with hours of fun in a day camp atmosphere led by caring, trained staff. Age-appropriate crafts, learning opportunities, playtime, swim lessons, and healthy meals keep everyone happy and smiling!

Lifeguard Training with Waterfront

This course is designed to give participants the knowledge and skills needed to become lifeguards and professional rescuers.
