Join the Dam Walk June 9 at McHenry Dam
All are welcome to join Coaching by Corey to participate in the Dam Walk, a beautiful 2 mile walk on Sunday, June 9 from 11:30 - 1:00 pm. The walk begins at the McHenry Dam, 914 S. River Rd, McHenry. Plan to meet at the end of the parking lot at the trail head. There is a lot of shade & foliage along a wooded path that is mostly flat. Plus an option to socialize after. Rahab's Daughters marks 9 years of preventing human trafficking and helping survivors. Through the use of technology, education, and outreach methods they have been making a big difference in our community and around the world. Rahab's Daughters provides housing, life skills programming, survivor mentorship, and counseling services to survivors in all of the states in which they operate.

Barrington Children's Choir Free Concert June 6
Come enjoy a free Barrington Children’s Choir performance on Thursday, June 6, at the Barrington White House from 6:00 - 8:00 pm. This performance is a celebration of their upcoming performance in New York City at Carnegie Hall, at the National Youth Series Festival. Refreshments will be available by Wild Asparagus Catering. Harper’s Free Summer Concert Series Includes Rock, Jazz and Classical Acts
The musical talents of Harper College students, faculty and alumni will be on display during the college’s annual Summer Concert Series. Performances will take place at 7:30 pm on Thursdays from June 6 through August 1 at the Drs. Kenneth and Catherine Ender Pavilion on Harper’s campus, located at 1200 W. Algonquin Road, Palatine.

Cuba Township and Barrington Hills Host 3rd Annual Land We Love Run Saturday June 29
Cuba Township and The Village of Barrington Hills are hosting the 3rd Annual Land We Love Run 5K/10K and 2-mile walk set for Saturday, June 29 at 7:30 AM. They are seeking runners, walkers, sponsors and volunteers. The race offers chip timing, a certified course, and medals for age categories. Barrington Village Hosting Memorial Day Parade & Ceremony May 27
The Village of Barrington is hosting a Memorial Day Parade and ceremony in downtown Barrington on May 27. The parade steps off at 10:30 am from the Veterans Memorial on Park Ave., proceeds west on Main Street, left on Dundee Avenue, and right into Evergreen Cemetery. The ceremony at Evergreen Cemetery will begin following the parade. Please contact Clancy Potts at cpotts@barrington-il.gov if your Girl Scout or Boy Scout Troop would like to walk in the parade.
Honor Those That Served our Country at Barrington Center & Union Memorial Day Services
Barrington Township will host two Memorial Day ceremonies on Monday, May 27. The first ceremony will begin at 9:00 am at Center Cemetery, located at Old Sutton Road and Route 68. The second ceremony will take place at 9:30 am at Union Cemetery, located on Route 62 just west of Old Sutton Road. Everyone is invited to join in honoring those who have served our country.

The Veterans of LBS host Memorial Day Ceremony
The Veterans of LBS invite Lake Barrington residents, their families and especially veterans to their annual MEMORIAL DAY CEREMONY 11:00 am Monday, May 27 at Veterans Memorial Garden, Lake Barrington Shores.
