Dear PEP Members:

Happy holidays, PEP members! On behalf of the Board of Directors, we thank you for your consistent support and membership in PEP. We recognize and truly value your decision to invest in PEP’s mission of economic growth in balance with a healthy environment. In 2022, we regained our pre-Covid momentum, returning to all the usual education and networking events and adding some new ones. Click to review our 2022 PEP highlights.

You will receive your 2022 Membership Dues Renewal Invoice in the coming days. Our Membership dues, which have not increased since 2019, provide half of PEP’s annual budget. I hope you will remain steadfast in your commitment to PEP and protecting our local natural resources by renewing your Membership before February 28th.

Wishing all of you a blessed holiday season and a prosperous New Year!

Jennifer Denson, Executive Director

ANNOUNCEMENTS

2022 PEP ENVIRONMENTAL STEWARDSHIP AWARDS

In September, we announced our award recipients, and for the next few months, we will highlight all of the projects. You can read more about each company and the individual projects at this link: 2022 Environmental Stewardship Awards.

BASF - Waste Stream Optimization

Evonik - Chilled Water Optimization

One of PEP’s most popular sponsorships will be available to book next Thursday, December 15th at 9am. The Membership Breakfast Sponsorship is $800.  Please note these sponsorships are usually full in a few hours and certainly by the end of the day.

How this works:

  1. At 9 am on Thursday, December 15th, we will accept requests to sponsor one of the six membership breakfasts on a first-come, first-serve basis.
  2. Email Jennifer at jdenson@pepmobile.org to request a sponsorship. Do not email before 9 am.
  3. The breakfast is held every other month on the third Thursday – but January and March may differ.
  4. Available Dates:
  • January: Current date is the 19th, but may change to the 26th due to speaker availability.
  • March: Wednesday, March 15
  • May 18
  • July 20
  • September 21
  • November 16

Please list two dates in order of preference, and we will do our best to accommodate you. Sponsorships will be invoiced two months in advance and should be paid the month before the sponsorship date.

Benefits of Membership Breakfast Sponsorship

  • Ability to greet all attendees and share materials with them at a special table during Registration.
  • 3 minutes during the program to share information about your company, products, and services. This has generally been done live, but you may wish to submit a video in place of or in combination with a live presenter. If a video is provided, a link to the video will also be shared in the newsletter and on our YouTube channel after the event. The three-minute time frame is firm.
  • 2 tickets to the breakfast and seats at the reserved speaker table
  • Special sponsor signage recognizing all breakfast sponsors at every breakfast.
  • Company logo on invitations, PEP newsletter, social media, etc.

If you or your children are attending college or graduate school, be sure to consider the PEP scholarship program! This scholarship is designated for local employees of PEP member companies and dependents. The application for the 2023 PEP Scholarship is open from December 1, 2022 through March 31, 2023. More information can be found at this link.
