JOIN A COMMITTEE

The success of PEP’s activities hinges upon our members. If you or any of your employees would like to participate in PEP’s planning committees, please let us know. We will explore the many possibilities with you. If you are interested in serving, please email Jennifer at jdenson@pepmobile.org.
We are specifically looking for members to join the PEP Membership Committee, which plans and executes PEP’s membership development and retention strategies.

We have an excellent committee, led by PEP Board members Hayden Olds, Olds Filtration and Ritchie Hurt, Thompson Engineering. But, we can never have too many good ideas and helping hands. The committee meets several times a year to develop and carry out activities to recruit and retain members and provide ideas and feedback on enhancing the PEP membership experience.

If you are interested in serving, please email Jennifer at jdenson@pepmobile.org.
PEP'S Recycling Resource list is now on our website! If your company is interested in learning more about our Recycling Task Force or offering a service that should be on this spreadsheet, please email Jennifer at jdenson@pepmobile.org.

TRASH BLOWS

PEP developed and implemented a truck-bed trash outreach education program for PEP’s member businesses. The pilot project increased awareness of pick-up truck owners and drivers about the litter problems by engaging PEP businesses and providing them with the tools they needed to educate their employees about truck bed trash. We are proud that the City of Mobile has decided to use the materials in an end-of-year public campaign as part of the Litter Free Mobile program.

Manufacturers and their vendors face pressure from corporate leaders, customers, and the public to improve their sustainability measurements. Many of our local companies meet these challenges with innovation and modern technology. On December 2, 2021, we hosted our 6th Annual Education Seminar: Company Sustainability: Global Goals, Local Actions to share best practices, solutions, and innovative thinking to address these concerns.
