About the Festival

Salmon Sessions Music Festival will feature five amazing BC bands. Check out the video for a rundown on who is playing:

The Lineup (schedule just announced!):

· 4:00 pm Fionn: The Canadian duo known for their catchy melodies and heartfelt lyrics.

· 5:00 pm Camaro 67: A 10-piece Vancouver-based band delivering retro rock and roll vibes.

· 6:30 pm Antonio Larosa: Award-winning artist bringing soulful country rock to the stage.

· 8:00 pm Brass Camel: Surrey’s own Daniel Sveinson leads this dynamic fusion band.

· 9:30 pm Daniel Wesley: West Coast music staple and headliner, blending rock, reggae, and folk.

Festival attendees will enjoy live music, guided tours of the hatchery, and the serene Little Campbell River surroundings, contributing to essential conservation efforts led by the SFGC.

About the Little Campbell Hatchery

For the second year in a row, the Semiahmoo Fish and Game Club (SFGC) has teamed up with Penmar Community Arts Society (Penmar) to raise funds for a new hatchery building through the Salmon Sessions Music Festival.

The current hatchery has faced years of flooding, with major damage during the 2021 atmospheric river floods, resulting in the loss of tens of thousands of fish eggs. To address this, SFGC plans to build a new facility on higher ground, equipped with modern systems to increase production. Annually, the hatchery releases about 100,000 salmon, totaling 35-40 million over the past 40 years.

Now that’s a conservation story!
